Berio Gizzi

Born in Abruzzo, Italy 1932

Came to Boston in 1936

Studied painting at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston 1958-1962

Studied drawing with the sculptor George Demetrious in Gloucester, MA summer of 1962

Attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy 1962-1964 and traveled to various countries to study the Old Masters.

Berio Gizzi worked at Fenway Studios (National Historic Landmark) in Boston, MA.

Passed away on September 4th, 2023 at the age 91.

His daughter, Cristina D. Gizzi-Pacheco is now the curator of his work.
